As a Chartered Forester and rural development advisor, I have over 30 years experience providing consultancy, research and project development services to the forest industry and related sectors.

Based in North Yorkshire, I work across the UK for a wide range of public, private and not for profit clients.

My Work

Encompassing a wide variety of client needs, my work includes economic appraisal, workforce and skills development, resource management, supply chain and market analysis, and more.

By working with a number of selected partners and associates I can also offer services in marketing, event management, due diligence, and organisational development.

Recent assignments have included the technical authoring of a new e-learning course for the 5th edition of the UKFS (Institute of Chartered Foresters), analysis and research regarding tree seed supply, encompassing the incentivisation of the creation and management of seed stands, and the forecasting of future demand (Defra), scoping of a national hub for Forest Harvester data (Forest Research) and the production of Woodland Creation & Tree Establishment Guidelines (Lake District National Park Authority).

I am also a Lantra accredited trainer and auditor for the Plant Health Certification Scheme and Woodland Trust UKISG.
